Enabling Mobile Print on Xerox Devices

Set this up on a 7856 – Also applies for a 7830, 7835, 7845 and 7855 – And other devices if using Mopria services.  This is for setting up mobile print for a WorkCentre 7856 copier.

First thing I did was go into the App Gallery –

Create an account or login

Easiest thing is to add the QR App –  https://appgallery.services.xerox.com/#!/home/app-details/5bf2d399-718e-4658-b327-ed67a9d1e8ce

Once the app is on the copier – then you use a QR reader which takes the client to a page that allows them to download an app called Print Portal.

Print Portal looks like this –

You may have to put in the IP address of the copier – or it may auto discover.

Once that is done you just add the images or files and click print.

Print by Xerox  – Click PrintbyXerox button on MFP and it gives instructions on the screen to send email to print@printbyxerox.com to create an account.  Once you do that you can log in and release all the stuff you emailed to print@printbyxerox.com on the MFP device.
